This role is pivotal in driving the integration of cutting-edge technology solutions that enhance our operational efficiencies and customer service delivery. The successful candidate will manage IT projects, develop strategic IT initiatives, and lead a team of IT professionals to support our vast network of transportation services. Lead and manage the IT department’s daily operations, ensuring effective performance and reliability of all IT systems. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and security regulations. Manage major IT projects, from planning through to deployment and maintenance, aligning with the broader strategic objectives of MV Transportation. Liaise with other department leaders to identify, recommend, and implement cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. Oversee the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost efficiency. Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, offering ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure peak professional performance. Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect company data and maintain compliance with industry and legal standards. Regularly evaluate technological advances and IT systems to continually enhance operational efficiency and information security. Strong leadership and decision-making skills Excellent understanding of IT and telecommunications systems Proficiency in managing large-scale IT projects In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection practices Effective communication skills, capable of explaining complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively Analytical and problem-solving skills Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (optional but beneficial)
