School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A middle school is
seeking a qualified Social Worker to provide essential support and
direct services to students during a short-term assignment. This
onsite contract position runs from ASAP through February 27, 2026,
with part-time hours covering 2-3 full days per week from 7:30 AM
to 3:00 PM. The role focuses on delivering social work services to
middle school students, helping to address their emotional, social,
and behavioral needs. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct social
work services and support to middle school students. - Collaborate
with school staff to develop and implement intervention plans. -
Assess student needs and facilitate access to resources and support
systems. - Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to
confidentiality regulations. - Support students during the
designated short-term assignment weeks (week of 2/9 and week of
2/23). Qualifications: - Active State Educator License with
authorization for school social work. - Demonstrated experience
working with middle school-aged children. - Strong understanding of
school social work principles and practices. - Ability to start
immediately and maintain a reliable onsite presence. - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Location: - Onsite position
in Cranston, RI, serving a local middle school. This position
