Job Description We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
biochemist to join our Protein Science group. The individual will
be a key member of the protein production and analytics team tasked
with design, production and functional characterization efforts for
our therapeutic programs. This role requires strong technical
expertise, scientific independence, and the ability to translate
complex data into clear conclusions that guide therapeutic lead
selection and optimization. This is an exciting opportunity to be
part of a cross-functional team and contribute to the development
of cutting-edge biotherapeutics in a fast-paced, rapidly growing
biotech company with a bold vision. Key responsibilities include
but are not limited to: Collaborate closely with cross-function
teams, drive the design, expression and purification of innovative
multispecific antibodies and other therapeutic molecules. Lead the
in vitro functional screening and analytical characterization of
multispecific antibodies and therapeutic proteins to support
therapeutic lead identification and optimization. Develop and
optimize high throughput protein production and characterization
methods and contribute to our antibody developability screening
platforms for the generation of robust, decision-enabling data.
Drive experimental strategy, execution, troubleshooting, data
analysis, and communication with cross-functional teams. Ensure
effective, high-quality and timely documentation in electronic
laboratory notebooks. Qualifications: Degree required: BS or MS in
protein science, biochemistry, analytical chemistry or other
related disciplines Lab experience required: BS with 6 or MS with 3
years of relevant experience, preferably in biotech and
biopharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge and hands-on
experience in common antibody expression platforms and purification
methods. Proficiency with AKTA and the ability to develop multistep
chromatography-based purification methods are required. Knowledge
in methods for characterizing protein-protein interactions using
SPR, BLI and ELISA to assess binding affinity, kinetics, and
potency. Familiar with various protein analytics platforms such as
HPLC, UPLC, DLS/SLS, and related biophysical methods for protein
purity and stability assessment. Solid understanding of antibody
structure, function, and biologics drug discovery and development
workflows. Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead
projects with minimal supervision. Attention to details,
outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent
written and oral communication, organization, and data
interpretation skills. Highly adaptable to a fast-paced work
environment and capable of working both independently and
