Description Job Summary A Commercial Planning & Marketing Intern
supports the customer marketing team by assisting with sales,
trade, and marketing analyses that inform planning and execution
across key retailers. The intern helps compile data, prepare
meeting materials, and evaluate promotional performance while
contributing to category and competitive insights. They assist in
the creation and organization of marketing assets, support
execution of marketing programs, and maintain recurring reports to
ensure stakeholders have timely and accurate information. Through
cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Category
Management, the intern helps streamline processes, improve workflow
efficiency, and deliver administrative and project support that
advances broader commercial and marketing priorities. In the event
of an absence, position will be filled by trained personnel.
Duties/Responsibilities Commercial Planning Support Assist in
compiling key sales, trade, and promotional data to support weekly
and monthly commercial planning routines. Help prepare materials
for customer meetings, including scorecards, promotional calendars,
and sell-in decks. Support analysis of promotional performance,
pricing, and distribution changes to identify trends or
opportunities with the assistance of the Blue Planner platform.
Market & Category Insights. Conduct basic research on category
trends, competitive activity, consumer behavior, and market
performance. Summarize findings into simple insights that support
Sales and Marketing initiatives. Assist in updating category
snapshots, consumer profiles, and competitive landscape summaries.
Marketing Activation & Execution. Support the development of
marketing assets such as sell sheets, product information updates,
and promotional materials. Help coordinate execution of marketing
programs, including gathering creative files, tracking assets, and
updating timelines. Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and
work conditions as assigned. Assist with content organization
across internal systems (SharePoint, Teams, digital asset

Data Management Support the creation and maintenance of recurring
reports (weekly dashboards, retailer recaps, item performance
summaries) Ensure data accuracy by validating information across
systems and flagging discrepancies. Manage simple data uploads,
file organization, and template updates to streamline reporting
workflows. Responsibilities for Food Safety Responsible for
completing required paperwork accurately and honestly as
applicable. Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing
Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and
all Food and Employee Safety policies. Must adhere to all Allergen
control programs and procedures as applicable. Responsible for
reporting suspicious packages, activities, and individuals. If
monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP
(Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved
HACCP plan(s). Required Skills/Abilities Level II: the ability to
communicate effectively both written and verbally in English as it
pertains to individual position. Ability to add, subtract,
multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and
percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply
common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved
written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems
involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. To
perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge
of Microsoft Office software, competent with Microsoft Word, Excel
and Outlook. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and
PowerPoint. Ability to work collaboratively with a team environment
as well as independently. Strong written and oral communication
skills. Eagerness and willingness to learn. Ability to work and
solve problems. Maintain a positive attitude to continue learning
and support the overall business. Education and/or Experience
Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing,
business, or a related field. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
