Job Description:

Prima CARE is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced X-Ray Technologist who would be responsible for obtaining x-ray images of patients via radiographic imaging.

Follow physician's orders regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.

Clearly explain instructions and direct patients during the exam, while addressing needs of the individual patients.

Correctly position the patient, operating imaging equipment safely and appropriately.

Practice radiation protocol safety according to ALARA principles.

Follow proper imaging techniques and procedures.

Keep accurate patients records

Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs and communicating with appropriate personnel.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

Must have an associate degree

Valid MA Radiologic Technologist license

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Must have a current BLS for healthcare provider

Must have CPR or CPR/AED certification
