This position is eligible for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)
funds which includes a monthly stipend of up to $750.00 which is
based upon the hours worked in the previous month. These funds are

team is a community leader in providing assistance to the growing
elderly population of Rhode Island. We support clients in obtaining
resources to address their needs from housing to mental health
services.What You'll Be DoingYou will work two days a week to
provide assistance to the aging and disabled population of Rhode
Island in Child & Family's Aging Well program. You will work under
three main programs-(1) The State Health Insurance Assistance
Program (SHIP) which is a national program that offers unbiased
one-on-one assistance, counseling, and education to Medicare
beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to help them make
informed decisions about their care and benefits; (2) The Senior
Medicaid Patrol (SMP), which empowers and assists Medicare
beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to prevent, detect,
and report health care fraud, errors, and abuse; and (3) The
Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act for
Beneficiary Outreach and Assistance (MIPPA) program, which provides
outreach and assistance to eligible Medicare beneficiaries to apply
for benefit programs that help to lower the costs of their Medicare
premiums and deductibles.Your Main PrioritiesWhile you will likely
have additional responsibilities arise on the job, primarily
you'll:
