Job Description:

Jordan’s Furniture, well-known for its employee-focused culture, is seeking a full or part-time Compensation Analyst. For this newly created position, we are seeking an experienced, detailed, resourceful Analyst to develop and administer our compensation and rewards programs to support Jordan's company goals and objectives and at the same time, ensure we offer pay plans that are competitive and fiscally viable. This position is located at our Taunton Corporate office located at: 450 Revolutionary Drive, East Taunton, MA and offers a balance of in office and remote work. This position can be a 30 - 40 hour flexible schedule.

  • Researches, recommends, designs and manages base pay, commission, and/or bonus compensation plans and programs to support company goals and objectives
  • Administers pay programs and analyzes compensation policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Analyzes prevailing rates for similar jobs in comparable industries and geographical areas, and recommends changes as appropriate to establish and maintain competitive rates
  • Participates in salary surveys and analyzes results to determine company’s market competitiveness
  • Develops recommendations to adjust salary structure in response to changing organizational needs and market conditions
  • Conducts market data analysis on benchmark positions; interprets information and makes recommendations
  • Conducts job analysis to determine appropriate salary levels and job bands; determines exempt/non-exempt classifications
  • Advises management on compensation actions for employees
  • Investigates and recommends resolution on FLSA classification questions and exemptions
  • Reviews job descriptions for positions and edits/revises as needed  design wage structure payfactors salary surveys FLSA

The qualified candidate must have:   wage and hour, salary survey, payfactors, ben benefit and wage and hour, ahalysis

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 5+ years of experience in compensation administration and design or related experience
  • Must be familiar with various state and federal wage and hour laws including FLSA, Equal Pay Act
  • Previous experience with sales commissions/bonus structure preferred
  • Able to deal with large quantities of data, highly organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and HRIS systems
  • CCP preferred but not required
