Job Description Position Description \n\n Responsibilities: \n \n Provides help and support to other Machine Operators and is a key resource in problem-solving and trouble-shooting production, process and mechanical issues. However, there are no direct supervisory responsibilities. \n As assigned, sets up complex jobs in the Milling department and/or runs production while ensuring customer specifications are consistently achieved \n Assists the Milling Production Manager in identifying and implementing opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency \n Sets a personal example and is a positive role model with regard to working safely, focusing on Quality, and meeting expected production standards \n Sets a personal example of adhering to Company policies including 1) the Company’s AS9100 Quality Management System, 2) compliance with ITAR-related policies and requirements, and maintaining an excellent standard of Housekeeping on the Shop Floor \n \n Qualifications: \n \n Minimum of 8 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC milling machines \n Strong understanding of machine setup, tooling, and fixturing. \n Ability to edit CNC programs to improve productivity and/or quality \n Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. \n Ability to properly use Gages, Micrometers, Calipers, Pins and other Inspection instruments to ensure customer specifications are being met \n Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to meeting customer requirements \n Strong problem-solving skills. \n Ability to work independently or as part of a team. \n Treats all other employees with dignity and respect \n
