Position Overview This position involves performing daily warehouse operations- including fuel containment checks, inventory management, and opening/closing procedures-while supporting the Equipment and Fleet Operations divisions with administrative and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-minded, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Tank Operations Rebuilding Tanks and Pumps to meet Diesel Direct's Quality. Fuel and Oil tanksLoad and unload tanks with a ramp truck or flat bedService tech in yard and field workInstall 12v and 115v pumpsDiagnose pumps issues and repairs in fieldSpecial projects that require light mechanical experienceInstall and diagnose tank monitors Warehouse Operations Perform daily opening and closing procedures, including perimeter checks, tank verification, lighting, and safety inspectionsInspect and maintain containment areas for leaks, debris, and spillage; wipe up any contaminationConfirm all tanks, poppit caps, and valves are closed, plugged, and securedVerify pumps and nozzles are properly cradled and in the off positionCheck and drain catch buckets, nozzle holders, and trash containersConfirm fire extinguishers and emergency spill drums are in place and chargedmaintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse surrounding yardMake drums with sensitive oil-based productsPull inventory into trucksLoad inventory into trucksTrackig inventory and inventory countsEmergency deliveries Qualifications You must be comfortable working outdoors in all-weather conditionsAble to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and staining for long periodsExperience with gas and diesel products: hazmat experience required CDL B preferredAir brakes endorsement required Forklift experience required (1year)1 year experience in outdoor or fuel warehouse operationsYou must be able to read and understand work ordersNeeds to be able to provide written and verbale updatesAbility to multitask, prioritize, and meet time-sensitive deadlinesMechanical/Plumbing experience preferredWillingness to work overtime and extend hours as needed You must pass a drug test Schedule Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (day), potential responsibilities after hours (limited) Benefits 401(k) with employer matchingMedical, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid time off and holiday payCareer advancement opportunities Equal Employment Opportunity Diesel Direct is an equal opportunity employer.
