Job Description:
MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and
experienced General Manager to oversee our transportation
operations. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring that we
continue to deliver outstanding transportation services to our
clients across North America. The General Manager will lead a
diverse team in a dynamic environment, driving efficiency and
excellence in all aspects of our transit service operations.
Oversee daily operations across multiple transportation services
including paratransit, fixed routes, shuttles, and school buses.
Lead, develop, and motivate a cross-functional team to achieve
exceptional performance and service delivery. Strategically plan
and manage logistics, warehouse, and transportation services to
maximize efficiency and productivity. Ensure compliance with
federal, state, and local regulations and MV Transportation's
safety standards. Manage budget planning and cost control measures
without sacrificing quality or customer satisfaction. Liaise with
city officials, stakeholders, and community leaders to promote and
facilitate the integration of transportation services. Implement
and leverage technology to optimize routing and scheduling
efficiencies. Address and resolve complex operational challenges,
including customer service issues. Strong leadership and
decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proven ability to manage and direct a large team Experience
with logistics and operational management Budget management and
financial acumen Knowledge of transportation industry regulations
and safety standards Certified Transportation Professional (CTP)
preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an
asset
