Job Description:
At MV Transportation, Inc., we excel in providing essential
transportation solutions spanning paratransit, fixed route,
shuttle, and school bus services across North America. We are
currently seeking a proven Information Technology (IT) Manager to
lead our IT operations and initiatives to ensure robust and
innovative IT support for our transport and logistics services. The
ideal candidate will oversee the development, implementation, and
management of technology systems that drive efficiency and optimize
operations in a dynamic, logistics-centered environment. Lead IT
projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and
services. Monitor performance of information technology systems to
determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations
for improving the IT infrastructure. Analyze business requirements
by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to
develop solutions for IT needs. Assure all IT activities are
performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and
regulations. Evaluate technology risks in order to develop a
network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures. Remain
abreast of technology trends and developments to deliver and
implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage. Manage
IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees,
communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills Excellent analytical
and problem-solving skills Deep understanding of IT systems,
network infrastructure, and database management Proficiency with
cloud technologies, cybersecurity protocols, and ERP systems
Effective project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Project
Management Professional (PMP) ITIL Certification
