Job Description:
MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking a skilled Training Manager to
lead our training initiatives within the transportation and
logistics industry. As a key component of our commitment to
providing top-notch public transit services, the Training Manager
will develop, implement, and oversee training programs that enhance
the skills and knowledge of our workforce. This role is crucial in
ensuring that our employees, ranging from drivers to operational
staff, maintain the highest standards of service, safety, and
efficiency in serving communities across North America. Design and
implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of
various departments within transportation services, including
paratransit and fixed route operations. Monitor and evaluate
training program's effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and
report on them to management. Manage relationships with internal
stakeholders and external training suppliers to ensure specialized
training offerings are tailored to employee needs. Maintain a keen
understanding of training trends, best practices, and emerging
technologies in the transportation and logistics industry. Oversee
and ensure compliance with all regulatory training requirements
across different regions. Develop and manage the training budget,
ensuring the best utilization of resources for optimal training
outcomes. Lead, inspire, and mentor training team members to
achieve excellence in delivery and performance. Strong leadership
and team management skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of modern training
processes and strategies in transportation or similar industries
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training
software Ability to design and implement effective training and
development programs Certified Professional in Learning and
Performance (CPLP) is preferred Any additional certifications
related to transportation safety and operations are beneficial
