Job Description:

MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to lead our HR operations, ensuring effective human resources management and employee relations within our growing transportation and logistics services across North America. The candidate will play a crucial role in promoting MV Transportation's commitment to its workforce, enhancing employee engagement, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives within the transportation sector. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues. Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain high-quality staff. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Maintain pay plan and benefits program. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management. Oversee employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics. Proven knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.) Proficient in HR software (HRIS, ATS, etc.). Strong understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures. Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Aptitude in problem-solving and conflict resolution. Experience in budget development and oversight.
