Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas, ensuring adherence to recipe standards. Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to achieve perfect crust texture and toppings. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized and efficient work-flow. Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the pizza preparation area. Manage inventory of pizza ingredients and report shortages promptly. Customize pizzas based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions. May be required to perform other duties as needed to support the overall goals and objectives of the team and organization. More about you Previous experience as a Pizza Cook or similar role. In-depth knowledge of pizza preparation techniques, including dough stretching and topping distribution. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Basic math skills; ability to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions. Physical requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat Work in a fast-paced and potentially hot kitchen environment. Basic knife skills and proficiency in pizza oven operation.
