Job Description:
At Sodexo, we seek an Executive Chef 2 who is passionate about
creating a delightful culinary experience while contributing to the
enhancement of the quality of life at educational institutions. As
an integral part of our food service team, the Executive Chef 2
will lead, innovate, and deliver exceptional food services. This
role involves managing kitchen operations, developing menus that
cater to diverse preferences, and ensuring compliance with all
safety and health regulations. The ideal candidate will embody our
mission to improve the wellbeing and productivity of our clients
and communities through exceptional food services and management.
Plan, direct, and oversee all aspects of kitchen management,
including menu development, inventory control, and procurement.
Ensure the provision of nutritious, safe, and appealing meals,
adapting menus to dietary needs and preferences. Train, mentor, and
manage kitchen staff to foster a cooperative and efficient working
environment. Uphold and enhance health and safety standards in
accordance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate
effectively with school administrators and staff to align food
service operations with educational goals and events. Strong
leadership and communication skills Expert culinary and menu
planning abilities Efficient inventory and procurement management
Proven ability to manage and train kitchen staff In-depth knowledge
of health, safety, and sanitation regulations Medical Insurance

required Certified Executive Chef (CEC) credential by the American
Culinary Federation (ACF) is preferred
