gym/wellness center! Therapists - Per Diem. LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT,
LMFT, or equivalent to support patients in a residential
environment. Position Responsibilities Clinical Therapists will
deliver care throughout Wellbridge and are responsible for the
day-to-day psychotherapy and case management requirements of a
licensed inpatient medically supervised stabilization and
withdrawal program, rehabilitation program and reintegration
program. Carries out the Wellbridge vision, values and overall
strategic planning, clinical management, patient care, budgeting,
financial management and quality management. Promotes service
standards and creates a patient-focused caring environment while
addressing and meeting the individual needs of all patients.
Fosters an environment of collaboration and respect with physician
colleagues, nurses and other healthcare team members. Clinical
Provide individual and group therapy for all treatment programs for
patients and their family members. Direct care delivery including
but not limited to assessment of physiologic and psychosocial
health status. Delivers modality specific care including but not
limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing,
contingency management, and relapse prevention. Interviewing
patients, establishing treatment goals and plan Maintain
understanding of current treatments, knowledge, and practices in
addiction care and prioritize the use of best and evidence-based
practices. Develop and maintain standard policies, procedures to
ensure quality services and compliance with accrediting entities.
Maintain documentation, patient files, and statistics as required
by departmental policies and funding sources. Supervision and
Support Model the Wellbridge philosophy of patient-centeredness,
empowerment, and cultural proficiency and seek supervision from
clinical staff. Maintains a safe and caring environment for
patients that is conducive to positive health teaching, and
maintenance, patient and family expectations of care. Recognizes
the need for patient care to be delivered in a culturally sensitive
manner and models sensitivity to all staff. Collaborations Support
a culture of high quality of care across organization. Work
collaboratively with the Director of Nursing and other nursing
colleagues to develop personalized treatment plans. Fields
clinically related telephone calls and responds. Support efforts of
Wellbridge research team to implement program improvement. Manage
and promote relationship with academic and research institutions to
promote addiction research and training. Facilitates the effective
provision of support services essential to team-based patient care.
Provide crisis support to other clinicians and patients, as needed
and in emergency situations. Planning and Coordination Participate
in regular clinical team meetings. Work closely with the clinical
and advocacy teams to coordinate services to patients. Works with
leadership team to counsel staff as needed. Makes recommendations
for growth and development of organization. Responds in a timely
fashion to staff concerns and functions proactively to retain
staff. Serve as a liaison and assist with community
outreach/presentations. Experience and Qualifications Master’s
level degree in behavioral sciences or social work. Valid License
as a Social Worker or related-fields (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT,
or equivalent) in the State of New York. BLS, ACLS preferred, other
certifications, as required by department. Familiarity with all
relevant healthcare standards: OASAS, ASAM, JCAHO, etc.
Demonstrated communication, critical thinking and interpersonal
skill. Proficiency with data management and electronic records.
Strong problem solving, conceptual, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications Clinical experience providing treatment
for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders for at least
three (3) years. Specific experience with stabilization and
withdrawal management care and/or rehabilitation settings. Teaching
experience. Experience with therapeutic groups (preferably
addiction-oriented), therapeutic communities, and inpatient care.
Experience evaluating program effectiveness and implementing
data-driven process improvement. Knowledge of medications assisted
recovery (MAR) and how behavioral interventions can support and
improve outcomes for MAR. Experience working as part of a
multi-disciplinary and/or research team. The salary range and/or
hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base
compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this
position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified
in the future. When determining a team member’s base salary and/or
rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., shift,
specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials,
budget, and internal equity). The full time salary range for this
position is LMSW Range: $72,000 - $78,000/year LCSW Range: $78,000
- $82,000/year (depending on experience/specialty)
