CT Tech Location: Boston, MA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,823 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 9 Weeks Start Date: 5/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 9 Shift: 06:30 PM-07:00 AM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: 3-5 years required as a CT technologist in a hospital or imaging center. License: Radiologic Technologist [State License] preferred. Certifications: Registered Technologist [ARRT-R] preferred. Must-Have: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting CT equipment. Description: Responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans for diagnostic purposes. Ensures patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols and safety standards. Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare teams to provide accurate imaging results for patient diagnosis and treatment. Performs CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols. Ensures patient positioning and immobilization to achieve optimal image quality and reduce radiation exposure. Reviews and verifies patient information, including medical history and prior imaging studies, before performing scans. Operates and calibrates CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards. Monitors patients during procedures to ensure safety and address any concerns. Maintains accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results. Follows infection control and radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff. Excellent communication and patient care skills to ensure a positive patient experience. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining accuracy.
