Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Echo
Technologist for a 13-week assignment in a Diagnostic Testing
Center, requiring ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification and a
minimum of 2 years of experience performing adult echocardiograms.
Details - Located in a 220-bed acute care hospital within the
Diagnostic Testing Center on the 1st floor - Day shift hours from
7:00 AM to 4:30 PM - Team consists of 4 full-time staff and 3 PRN
sonographers, with 3 techs per day shift - Procedures performed
include adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress
echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) -
Portable echocardiograms are performed at the bedside in patient
rooms - Primary ultrasound equipment is the GE Vivid E9 - EMR
system is Meditech - Weekend and on-call coverage is required -
13-week contract Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of echo tech
experience, with active experience within the last 6 months - ARDMS
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered
Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required - State of New Hampshire Board
of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License required (license
required if applicable) - Ability to perform complete adult
transthoracic and stress echocardiograms independently - Ability to
perform portable echocardiograms at the bedside - Experience
building structured reports for physician review - SSN and DOB
required for consideration - One professional reference required
(two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri) - Candidates
must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates
are not eligible Additional Information - Perform adult
transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and assist
with transesophageal echocardiograms under physician direction -
Experience administering ultrasound contrast agents such as
Definity and agitated saline is preferred - Experience operating
ultrasound equipment during TEE procedures is preferred - Ideal
candidate is self-motivated and comfortable working independently
in a fast-paced environment - Medical scrubs required - No gaps in
work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months American
