Job Description UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking to hire
a full time Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Radiologist who
is interested in pursuing an academic career. This position offers
a supportive environment for academic growth, opportunities for
both on-site and remote reading, and strong institutional
investment in Nuclear Medicine and Theranostics. Applicants must
hold an MD/DO (or equivalent), be ABR/ABNM certified or eligible
and have completed a fellowship training in nuclear medicine
including competency in diagnostic imaging and radiopharmaceutical
therapies. Candidates will join a collegial team providing
subspecialty nuclear medicine services across a major academic

healing. About Our Department We are comprised of ~100
Radiologists, 28 residents, and 10 fellows as well as approximately
25 research faculty and 5 full-time educators, providing
comprehensive imaging services through a fully integrated health
care system in central Massachusetts. We are the primary academic
medical center for UMass Chan Medical School. Our department has
state-of-the-art imaging equipment and a fully integrated IT
infrastructure EMR (EPIC), SECTRA PACS, PS-1 and has been at the
forefront of implementation of a wide range of AI algorithms. There
are numerous opportunities to pursue individual interests in
education (both at the medical student level and resident/fellow
level), Health Services or basic science research and AI, supported
by a robust Radiology clinical trials office and image processing
core labs. Multiple radiology subspecialties are welcomed. About
Our Division We are comprised of 2 full-time and several part-time
faculty. We provide a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic
nuclear medicine services to include SPECT/CT, PET/CT,
theranostics. We currently offer FDG, PSMA, DOTATATE, FES, FDG, FDG
Cardiac PET/CT and different tracers for neuroimaging. Areas of
expansion: theranostics and cardiac perfusion imaging. We work
collaboratively with our colleagues in surgery, oncology, radiation
oncology, cardiology, medical subspecialties, and primary care.
Experience and interest in theranostics encouraged. ABR/ABNM
certification or eligibility required. Will need Authorized User
certification on hiring. Usual work week consists of 4 clinical
days and 1 academic day a week. Why UMass Centrally located in
