dedicated IV Therapy & Venous Access team for a travel nursing
opportunity in Salem, Massachusetts. This night-shift Travel
Registered Nurse (RN) role offers hands-on experience with patients
across the lifespan (neonatal to geriatric), Epic charting, and the
chance to expand infusion therapy and ultrasound-guided IV skills
while living near Boston and the scenic North Shore. Job Details -
Location: Salem, MA 01970 (Salem, Massachusetts; North Shore; near
Boston) - Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – IV Therapy /
Venous Access - Assignment Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks) - Start
Date: April 19, 2026 - End Date: July 18, 2026 - Shift: Nights –
Options: 1x12hr (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) or 3x8hr (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) -
Hours per Week: 40 (36 guaranteed) - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 -
$2,370 - Patient Population: All ages – neonatal, infant,
pediatric, adult, geriatric - Charting: Epic (experience with Epic
preferred) - Floating: Not required Required Qualifications -
Experience: Minimum 2 years on an IV/Venous Access team or infusion
therapy role (travel RN or permanent) - License: Active
Massachusetts RN license required (compact license not accepted
unless MA is active) - Certifications: AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
required - Education: BSN preferred - Clinical Skills: - Peripheral
IV insertion and ultrasound-guided IV placement - PICC
repositioning and care - CVAD dressing changes and non-tunneled
CVAD removal - Accessing/de-accessing implanted ports -
Reconstitution, instillation, and removal of thrombolytic agents
per protocol - Strong documentation skills in Epic and accurate
procedure charting - Other: Strong clinical judgment, infection
prevention knowledge, and excellent communication for
interdisciplinary collaboration Core Responsibilities - Provide
expert IV therapy and venous access nursing care for patients
across all age groups - Perform peripheral and ultrasound-guided IV
insertions, PICC repositioning, CVAD dressing changes, and
non-tunneled CVAD removals - Manage implanted ports, administer
thrombolytic procedures, and follow infusion therapy protocols -
Accurately document all procedures and patient care in Epic -
Collaborate with physicians, infusion pharmacists, and
interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely patient care -
Maintain competency through ongoing education, skills checks, and
