Lab/Endoscopy RN experience, ACLS, and Epic EMR proficiency. /n

Endoscopy RN (GI/ENDO RN, GI Nurse, Endoscopy Nurse)/n - Location:
Salem, MA 01970 — travel nurse opportunity in Massachusetts (New
England travel nursing)/n - Employment Type: Travel Contract
(Travel RN)/n - Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 5, 2026 – July 4,
2026)/n - Hours: 40 hours/week (Guaranteed)/n - Shift: Days, 07:00
AM – 05:50 PM/n - Shift Duration: 10-hour days/n - Estimated Weekly
Pay: $2370 – $2500 (competitive pay for endoscopy nurse jobs)/n -
Parking: Free on-site parking/n - Charting System: Epic (Epic EMR
experience preferred)/n - Unit: Surgical Services – Endoscopy (7
procedure rooms, holding & recovery rooms)/n - Patient Volume:
60–70 procedures/day/n - Clinician-to-Patient Ratio: 1:1 in
procedure rooms; 1:2–3 in PACU/n - Bed Count: 18 PACU bays, 8
procedural rooms/n - On-call: Evenings, nights, weekends, and
holidays (rotating)/n - Floating: Not required/n /n/nJob
Requirements/n /n - Minimum 2–3 years recent Endoscopy/GI Lab RN
experience (endoscopy nurse experience required)/n - Active
Massachusetts RN license (compact license not accepted unless MA
endorsement completed)/n - AHA ACLS Certification and current
BLS/CPR/n - SGNA or CBSPD certification strongly preferred/n -
Proficiency with GI technician endoscopy workflows, Olympus scope
set-up, handling, and reprocessing/n - Strong clinical skills in
MAC and conscious sedation cases/n - Comfortable caring for a
diverse patient population in a fast-paced GI lab/PACU
environment/n - Ability to work rotating shifts within department
hours (6:30 AM – 5:30 PM)/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide
safe, patient-centered nursing care across pre-procedure,
intra-procedure, and recovery phases (endoscopy nurse
responsibilities)/n - Assist providers during GI/endoscopic
procedures, including MAC and conscious sedation cases/n - Perform
focused assessments, continuous monitoring, and timely
interventions for changes in patient condition/n - Document
accurately and efficiently in Epic EMR/n - Support room readiness,
turnover, and patient flow in a high-volume procedural setting/n -
Follow infection prevention standards, including proper scope
handling and endoscope reprocessing workflows/n - Collaborate with
the interdisciplinary healthcare team across procedure, holding,
and PACU recovery areas/n - Participate in scheduled on-call
rotation for after-hours, weekends, and holidays/n /n/nWhy Join
