Job Description Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Opportunity – Norfolk, NE Medical Director and Attending Physician for a dedicated Inpatient Rehab Unit Join a collaborative and well-supported team as a Medical Director and Attending Physician in an integrated inpatient and outpatient PM&R practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide clinical leadership while delivering high-quality rehabilitative care in a community with a strong demand for specialized services.Position Highlights:•Provide oversight for a coordinated Post-Acute Care Service Line•Serve as Medical Director and Attending Physician for a dedicated Inpatient Rehab Unit•Outpatient PM&R Clinic with strong demand for:oEMGsoBotox therapyoSpasticity managementoMSK pathology referralsoHospital discharge follow-ups•Favorable payer mix in the area enhances financial viability of servicesAbout the Inpatient Rehab Unit:•7-bed unit located on the hospital’s main campus—easy access to physician consults•Patient population includes:oStroke and neurologic disordersoHip fractures and limited orthopedicsoTrauma, amputations, complex debility casesoMild to moderate spinal cord injuries and brain injuries•Highly experienced and specialized staff:o80% of RNs are Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses (CRRN)oSkilled, multidisciplinary therapy and nursing teamThis is a unique opportunity to lead and grow a PM&R program in a supportive setting while meeting a high community need for rehabilitative and musculoskeletal care.
