Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist
Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours
per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Radiology License:
Licensed by the State Radiation Control Board Certifications: ARRT
Registered- RT (R) or RT (N) preferred Must-Have: ARRT Registry in
Computed Tomography preferred. If no CT License at time of hire,
Technologist has one year to obtain CT License. CPR certified.
Description: Performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures
and duties under the direction of a qualified physician and
technical specialist. Uses prescribed levels of ionizing radiation
while performing all activities according to federal, state, and
local policies and procedures. Provides care to a variety of
patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age. Operates imaging
equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body
parts. Responsible for inserting and removing IVs. Knowledge of the
special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients is
preferred. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills
