Job Description:
Catholic Medical Center, a leading provider of healthcare
services, is seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN
to join our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in providing
cutting-edge nuclear medicine services, contributing to the
diagnosis and therapeutic treatments of patients. This position
requires a high level of professionalism and expertise in handling
sophisticated nuclear medicine equipment and radio-pharmaceuticals
under the stringent safety protocols specific to our industry.
Collaboration with our radiologists, oncologists, and other
healthcare professionals is essential to facilitate comprehensive
patient care and diagnostic accuracy. Prepare and administer
radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients as
prescribed by physicians. Operate and maintain all nuclear medicine
equipment, ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.
Conduct imaging sessions with patients, explaining procedures and
ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times. Analyze
biomedical images and provide preliminary findings to physicians.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient care
plans. Stay updated with advancements in the field of nuclear
medicine technology. Proficient in the use of nuclear medicine
technology and equipment. Strong understanding of
radiopharmaceuticals usage and safety protocols. Excellent
analytical and communication skills. Ability to handle patient care
sensitively and confidentially. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified by the Nuclear
Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state license as
a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
