Job Description Job Description Perennial Recovery is seeking a hands-on Clinical Director for our mental health and substance use disorder PHP/IOP outpatient program. This is an in-person leadership role within a smaller census program, ideal for a licensed clinician who wants to lead while remaining clinically engaged. This position combines clinical leadership, staff supervision, and direct client care. The Clinical Director will oversee the mental health track, supervise clinicians, facilitate groups, maintain a client caseload, and collaborate closely with the Program Director on compliance, utilization review, and daily operations. Key Responsibilities • Lead and oversee mental health and SUD clinical services • Facilitate PHP and IOP group therapy (in person) • Maintain an active mental health and/or SUD caseload • Provide clinical supervision to all clinicians • Review and approve treatment plans and documentation • Support utilization review and medical necessity requirements • Collaborate with Program Director on compliance and program operations • Assist with crisis intervention and higher-acuity clinical needs Schedule & Availability • In-person role, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM • Some after-hours availability by phone or Microsoft Teams as needed Required Qualifications • Active Massachusetts LMHC or LICSW license • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (PHP/IOP or outpatient preferred) • Experience with mental health and substance use disorder population
