Lab experience Description: This position involves working in a
Special Procedures unit. The unit has 2 IR suites. Staff consists
of 4 IR Nurses and 4 IR Techs. Day shift staff and night shift
on-call positions are available. The average patient ratio is 10
patients per room. The equipment used includes Philips biplane and
Toshiba single plane. Candidates with IR Neuro experience are
preferred. Typical procedures performed include PICC lines,
paracentesis, thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, port placement,
ablations, ESI, EKOS for PE, and Trevo for stroke. The ideal
candidate is hardworking and a team player. On-call duty is
required every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weeknight. Scrubs will be
