This role will be a critical drug information resource for nurses, physicians, patients, and families. Responsibilities:/n Provide direct patient-centered care and integrated pharmacy services in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. /n Routine attendance on medical rounds (for decentralized shifts) with consistent documentation of pharmacist interventions. /n Deliver medication therapy management with a focus on antibiotic stewardship and infectious disease protocols. /n Ensure pharmaceutical care programs are appropriately integrated throughout the institution. /n Assist in development and implementation of facility-specific protocols, guidelines, and reference documents related to antimicrobial therapy management. /n Conduct Medication Use Evaluations (MUEs) with a focus on antibiotics/ID, and recommend necessary changes to pharmacotherapy practice. /n Serve as a resource in antibiotic stewardship initiatives, ensuring best practices and compliance with institutional standards. Qualifications:/n Education /n Required: PharmD or BS in Pharmacy /n Experience /n Required: Pharmacy practice residency or equivalent hospital experience (3 postgraduate years) /n Strongly Preferred: Infectious Disease training and/or experience in antibiotic stewardship /n Certifications /n Required: Current Pharmacy license in Massachusetts /n Preferred: Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or actively working toward certification /n /n Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
