working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Manchester,
New Hampshire, 03103! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in PCU with a strong
background within the last year. License: Active state nursing
license required. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, EKG Test on arrival
required. Must-Have: EPIC experience is required. No first-timers
accepted without 2 years of experience. Available for floating to
similar units as needed. Description: We are seeking a Registered
Nurse specialized in PCU. This position involves working in a
cardiac intermediate care unit. The nurse will manage a patient
ratio of 1:5 during night shifts. Experience with patient diagnoses
such as chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI
bleed, COPD, and pneumonia is necessary. The unit may also see
medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic overflow. The
nurse will be required to perform special procedures including
post-cardiac catheterization care, ICD/pacer insertions, and
cardioversions. Knowledge of managing and titrating cardiac drips
is essential. The ideal candidate will possess skills in blood
product administration, cardiac telemetry, and care of ventilated
patients. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary
support teams. Additional preferred skills include CPI and sheath
removal. A commitment to working every other weekend is expected.
Call duties are not required for this position. Candidates will be
subject to a drug screening within 14 days of the start date.
