Job Description Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in New Haven, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 3 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel PICU Floating requirements- all travelers will be expected to float to the various units within the children’s hospital, this can include the Pediatric ED, NNICU, inpatient departments, and Wini 1 (psych) as needed. When floating to these care areas travelers will be expected to take an assignment and care for the patients they are assigned. In each care area outside of the PICU we would recommend that travelers connect with the Charge RN if they have questions or need a brief orientation to the unit./nExperience in cardiac critical care, CRRT and ECMO certs preferred/nRatios: Avg 1:2/nYears of experience REQ: 3 yrs/nFirst-timers accepted: Y/nWeekend REQ: Every other/nCerts REQ: PALS, BLS About Prime Staffing At Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
