CNA PER DIEM SKILLED NURSING Position SummaryThe Certified Nursing Assistant plays a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our residents while ensuring compliance with North Hill's policies, procedures, and standards. This dedicated individual will collaborate closely with residents to deliver person-centered care, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and skillfully preparing and serving meals. Provides Resident centered care including ADL's, bathing, dressing, grooming, nail care, shaving, and bowel and bladder functionsAssists in transporting Residents to and from appointments, activities, and social programsResponds to resident requests for support and uses communication systems appropriatelyLeads and participates in small group activitiesParticipates, collaborates, and supports PurposeFULL Living during programming as assigned or as neededReports all changes in Resident condition to the on-duty nurse and completes necessary documentation in a timely mannerResponds promptly to all emergencies, ensuring swift and effective action is takenAdvocates for and understands Resident personal preferences and provides support and care in a manner that respects Resident rights, choices, confidentiality, privacy and protects them from abuseCompletes necessary documentation for ancillary services and supplies to ensure tracking and correct billing can occurAdheres to Resident's individual plan of careUtilizes electronic health documentation appropriatelyProvides coverage to all households as requiredPrepares, cooks, serves, and completes after meal clean-up for Resident meals. Ensures food handling guidelines.
