Purchase Discount Program*Position Overview*We have a wonderful
Full-Time opportunity to join our Evoke Wellness Cohasset Nursing
team as an RN or LPN. This position is for three days a week/12
hour shifts on night shift, with rotating weekend schedules.The
RN/LPN is responsible for all Nursing related services for each
patient and for linking patients to the physicians and to outside
medical resources. They participate in the Interdisciplinary Team
Meetings when necessary to inform the clinical team about medical
issues and are available for emergency medical situations. The
RN/LPN provides all services under the supervision of the Medical
Director. The LPN is responsible to provide medical & history
screens, providing routine nursing care and overseeing the medical
and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the
attending physician. They are also a member of the Treatment Team
and provide input into the development of the Master Treatment
Plan. The RN/LPN does not work alone and there are others on site
to support LPN including at least one RN in the building at all
times.*Position Responsibilities*1. Provide direct care for
patients with a history of mental health and substance use.2.
Transcribes Physicians Orders and Implements all Medical Protocols
as ordered3. Administers medications and monitors for effectiveness
and adverse effects4. Confers with and assists the Medical
Doctor/APRN and the Psychiatrist.8. Provides documentation that
reflects services for each patient in accordance with licensure
standards9. Maintains the Confidential nature of all patients and
facility activities10. Interacts with clients with compassion and
respect11. Attends in-service education programs as assigned to
learn new forms, procedures, developmental skills, etc.12. Has good
work habits: get things done in a timely, efficient manner with no
excessive absences; is on time13. Maintains CPR certification.14.
Performs other capacities as needed.*Position Requirements**
Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication, observation & Written
skills.* Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes regarding Patient
Confidentiality laws.* Ability to interact with a
multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program
relating to physical health.* Knowledge and competency in
problem-solving, stress management, ethics, and team building.*
Ability to determine if a medical emergency exists and to take
appropriate action when necessary.* Knowledge of emergency
procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose.* Knowledge
of First Aid and CPR.*Education & Work Experience** Completion of
an accredited Registered Nursing Program (RN) or LPN Program* Must
have passed National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN)Evoke
