Title: Emergency Room Registered NurseLocation: Fall River, MA 02721Duration: 13 weeks (Possibility Extension)Shift: 12 hours (Night shifts)Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Job DescriptionDuties & Responsibilities:--- 2 years of experience is needed--- Must recognize safety issues for self and others and be able to assess and implement the use of lifts to move patients in a safe manner.--- Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.--- Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.--- May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.--- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills are required.--- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.--- Critical Care and charge experience are preferred.--- May begin entry-level without Emergency Department experience, but a minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience is required.--- Must have the ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations.--- Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.License and certificate required:--- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification--- Current Massachusetts RN license.--- ACLS are required.Job Type: ContractSalary: $65.00 - $80.00 per hourMedical specialties:* Critical & Intensive CarePhysical setting:* Acute careStandard shift:* Night shiftWeekly schedule:* 3x12Ability to commute/relocate:* Fall River, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:* Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Preferred)* RN (Preferred)Work Location: In person
