Because we have some of the most talented people in the world. # We are searching for a RN QI Specialist I who will be responsible to deliver results improvement in quality metrics and projects involving multiple stakeholders across several departments, service lines, sites and/or Southcoast corporate entities through direct support and collaboration with stakeholders. Assist and support Quality Department leadership by developing informed recommendations for focused improvement needs. Recommend actions for workflow process changes to hardwire results supported by data-driven analyses. Project involves the coordination efforts of multiple analysts and/or quality support specialists in addition to providing educational support to frontline staff at the bedside or other operational area. Actively contribute on projects with large scopes that require efforts across multiple roles or support from within or external to the department determined by department leadership. May coordinate accreditation activities related to assigned quality projects and needed support/preparations for regulatory-type audits or surveys. Ensure smooth and efficient operations of the quality department. Proactively seek work or assignments as workload permits. Acquire and employ knowledge for reporting, analysis and data use from various databases. Work cooperatively with department colleagues.# Provide group facilitation, functional or technical supervision over employees in the same or closely related positions where scope of supervisory responsibility is limited to direction, guidance, explanation, etc. Deliver education to stakeholders within and external to the department as needed to achieve the identified/needed results. Hours: 40 hours (full time) Day Shift # Education and/or Experience Requirements: A Bachelor#s degree in Nursing or the equivalent education and experience is required. Master#s degree is preferred. Lean certification is required or can be obtained while in the position. Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office products, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EPIC as well as other computer applications and databases are required. Advanced data management skills are required for data analysis/interpretation, display and graphing/charting of clinical and non-clinical data is required. Experience with group facilitation, problem/conflict resolution, project management and effective delivery of training and instruction to users at all levels is required.
