Sr. Regional Director Job Locations US-NJ-Somerset Requisition ID 2020-6667 Category Information Technology Job Summary This is a 2nd line leadership role, responsible for managing all sales activities within a defined region. The Senior Regional Director will need to have a proven track record in managing a large geography (multi-state), attaining aggressive sales goals and the development of senior level sales talent. The position is a challenging and dynamic opportunity for the right individual that requires the ability to lead by example, mentor in a senior capacity and recruit top-level talent. The Sr. Regional Director - Stratascale will report to the Vice President Stratascale. This position is a remote position however may be required to report to Stratascale Headquarters as required for business needs as determined by Stratascale management.   • Manage and mentor multiple district managers (1st line management) and a professional sales team in a large geographic region (10-15 states)
  • Collaborate with VP and develop sales strategy, business plan aligned with field teams and business units
  • Collaborate with District Managers to drive new client acquisition, growth of accounts and proper mentorship of Account Executives to exceed goals
  • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to senior leadership in client accounts
  • Motivate, coach, and manage the sales team
  • Oversee pipeline management at the regional level
  • Build a sales team by recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
  • Collaborate and provide strong leadership in working with various supporting departments within Stratascale & SHI
  • Partner and collaborate with internal technical support teams' leadership
  • Promote and cultivate a culture of high performance and teamwork
  • Establish and develop new and established strong Director & VP level Partner relationships within the region
  • Work with Marketing to effectively create brand awareness
  • Provide senior level sponsorship for top accounts in the region Qualifications
    • 2+ years of successful 2nd line sales leadership working as a Director and/OR 7+ years of successful 1st line sales leadership working as a manager
    • Experience selling significant professional services engagements
    • MBA or equivalent work experience
    • Must have experience presenting to large groups
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel & PowerPoint
    • Development and coaching experience
    • Deep understanding and experience working with enterprise---technology manufacturers/partners---and knowledge of IT competitive landscape Required Skills
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
      • Experience working with C-Level executives
      • Excellent presentation skills.
      • Highly focused on customer solutions and satisfaction

      • Must be results driven with a strong sense of urgency

      • Initiative to research and resolve problems with a positive attitude
      • Exceptional time management
