We are searching for an experienced RF Engineer (Mid-Career) at our
Groton, CT location.
SEA CORP is a veteran-owned business based in Middletown, Rhode
Island. Founded in 1981, we have been providing services to the
U.S. Navy for over 40 years. Our core business is providing
systems, software, and hardware engineering services, as well as
test and evaluation services to the Navy, chiefly for submarine
electronic systems. We have enjoyed steady, planned growth for over
three decades, and have grown to over 450 people with operations in
multiple states. Our strength lies in our highly trained and
professional staff who consistently exceed customer
expectations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
SEA CORP is seeking a motivated mid-level or senior RF Engineer to
join our EW Engineering Task Area.
Responsibilities include:
Performing cascade analysis to include S-parameters, NF, OCP, OIP3
(familiarity with Keysight Genesis is a plus)
Evaluation of requirements documents using RVTM / SRVM
Development of specifications (e.g. Hardware Requirements
Specifications, Procurement Control Drawings, Source Control
Drawings, Vendor Item Control Drawings)
Design of RF assemblies and subassemblies primarily using
connectorized components (familiarity with Autodesk EAGLE or
AutoCAD is a plus)
Authoring of test plans and test procedures
Testing and troubleshooting of RF components and assemblies to
include the use of power supplies, digital multimeters,
oscilloscopes, function generators, network analyzers
(scalar/vector), spectrum analyzers, and noise figure meters
Interfacing with engineering team (e.g. electrical engineers,
mechanical engineers, electronics technicians)

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This positions requires the following physical activities: Sitting
and standing for extended periods of time. Significant use of small
hand and electrical tools that require fine motor skills.
Significant use of computers, including use of a mouse and keyboard
as well as the viewing of computer screens. occasional lifting
Eligibility Requirements:
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics
Engineering is required.
Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience is required.A
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering is
required. Certification to, or familiarity with the requirements
of, ANSI/ESD S20.20 or MIL-STD-1686 (ESD), AS9146 or NAS412 (FOD),
and Six Sigma 5S/6S is a plus.Daily work will occur at SEA CORP's
Groton, CT facility. Travel to SEA CORP's Middletown, RI campus may
be required for classified analysis and data processing. Additional
travel opportunities in support of shipboard installations may
arise.Ideal candidate will be a "self-starter" equally comfortable
working alone or in support of small teams (2-3 individuals).
Applicant will demonstrate eagerness to mentor and be mentored.
