School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
district in Springfield, MA, is seeking a dedicated School
Psychologist to provide critical ESY (Extended School Year) support
for a backlog of students across grades K-12. This contract
position offers the opportunity to contribute to student success by
addressing unique educational and psychological needs during the
summer and extended service periods. Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions
for K-12 students. - Conduct evaluations to identify learning needs
and support special education eligibility. - Collaborate with
educators, administrators, and families to develop personalized
education plans. - Provide consultation and guidance regarding
student behavior, learning challenges, and emotional well-being. -
Support the backlog of students requiring ESY services, ensuring
timely and accurate service delivery. - Maintain detailed records
and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications: - Valid certification or licensure as a School
Psychologist in the state. - Experience working with K-12 student
populations in school settings. - Strong skills in psychological
assessment, counseling, and data interpretation. - Ability to work
independently and manage caseloads during contract period. -
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with school
staff and families. Location: - Springfield, Massachusetts This
