Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
district in Rhode Island is seeking two licensed Speech-Language
Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services within the school
setting. These contract positions offer flexibility with part-time
or full-time hours and a caseload tailored to meet district needs.
The assignments will run from ASAP through June 16, 2026, with
in-person work preferred but hybrid arrangements considered. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language pathology services to
students in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop
and implement individualized treatment plans. Conduct assessments
and progress monitoring to inform instruction and interventions.
Maintain clear documentation and comply with all school district
policies and timelines. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Rhode
Island state licensure for school-based SLP. Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Familiarity with K-12
educational environment and requirements. Ability to work
effectively in-person or hybrid setting. Strong communication and
teamwork skills. Location: Providence, Rhode Island Employment
Details: Contract position for the 2023-2026 academic years. Hours
per week negotiable; part-time and full-time options available.
