School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
psychologist opportunity is available for a dedicated professional
to support K-12 students in a full-semester, part-time role within
a school setting located in Waterbury, CT. This contract position
requires 12-15 hours per week, starting immediately and continuing
through June 9, 2026. The role involves onsite responsibilities
with some occasional travel as needed. Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychological evaluations and administer standardized
assessments for students across K-12 Prepare comprehensive PPT
(Planning and Placement Team) reports based on evaluation findings
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to
support student success Maintain compliance with state and district
regulations regarding special education and psychological services
Qualifications and Experience: Active licensure and certification
as a School Psychologist in Connecticut are required Previous
school-based experience working with K-12 populations is essential
Strong knowledge of evaluation procedures and special education
regulations Excellent communication and report writing skills
Ability to travel occasionally within the district as needed
Additional Information: Part-time schedule of approximately 12-15
hours per week Position requires onsite presence with some travel
to other locations Initial interview will be conducted via Zoom
Location of service is New Britain, CT This is a valuable
